I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. I graduated high school from La Follette in 2010 and went on to continue my work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Here, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Archaeology. From there, I went on to Graduate School, also at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I obtained my professional capstone certificate in Geographic Information Systems in the fall of 2017.
I have worked in the field learning the ways of archaeology for five summers. I worked as a curatorial assistant learning the ways of caring for those unearthed artifacts and worked on a federal rehousing project. I helped in completing a museum exhibit for the Village of Trempealeau, Wisconsin; some of my panels are available to view right here on this site. I have also been published in The Wisconsin Archaeologist
