This map is from my introductory G.I.S. course. We used buffers and other tools to follow constraints for the construction of a hypothetical lab facility. The facility needed to be within 300 meters of existing sewer lines, no construction may occur within 20 meters of streams, the landuse must be brush land, it must have suitable soils, and the site must be at least 2,000 square meters in size.
